Job description: SALON HYBRID – Beauty Specialist & Salon CoordinatorDURBANVILLE, (Northern Suburbs) Cape Town – South AfricaSTART: A.S.A.P / November 2024REPORT TO: Salon OwnerTRADING HOURS & SHIFTS:
- Tuesday – Friday 07:00am – 19:00pm (8-hour shifts) / rotate open & close
- Saturday 07:00 – 16:00
- CLOSED on Sundays & Mondays
SALARY & COMPANY BENEFITS:
- R6,500 Basic Salary Per month + R1,500 Skills Bonus per month (for admin & social media duties) = R8,000 p/m
- Services Commission 15%
- Retail Commission 10%

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: * Certified Beauty Therapist / Nail Technician with ITEC or similar accredited certification
- Confident in all nail products including Nail Polish, Gel Polish, Rubber Base and Acrylic
- Certified in Lash Extensions (Classic Lashes) | Bonus – Volume & Hybrid
- Computer literate and confident – especially with social media (Insta & Facebook & Canva)
- Afrikaans confident (speak / understand)
EXPERIENCE: * Beauty Salon / Nail Bar / Spa experience required
- Experience working with Bio Sculpture & Rubber Base
- Experience offering classic lashes
- Experience working in reception or as Head Therapist
SKILLS: * Manicure & Pedicure (Including Gel Polish) with confidence in hand/foot massage
- Nail Art – BONUS
- Lash Extensions
- Other beauty treatments – BONUS
- Computer skills (Social Media, Facebook, Canva, Instagram, Tik Tok etc.)
- Admin skills
- Bubbly & friendly personality
- Afrikaans & English confident
- Strong Team player
