Job description: Well established Neurology Practice in Centurion is seeking a receptionist.Duties and Responsibilities:Answering of all calls in a professional, courteous and efficient manner. Responding to all emails and Whatsapps.Managing the diary, booking patient appointments, communicate billing policy to all new and existing patients.Welcome patients arriving in a friendly and professional manner, communicate time delays to manage client expectations.Open accounts and capture all relevant information accurately on system for new patients.Assist with obtaining patient results and related correspondence (lab results, radiology etc).Accept money (cash or card) and receipting thereof.Assist the doctor with all office admin related tasks.Ensure the smooth and effective functioning of the practiceGeneral administrationMaintain efficient patient serviceMaintain confidentiality of doctor, staff and patient information.Qualification and Requirements:MatricDiploma in Administration will be advantageous.At least 2-5 years’ experience in a similar medical receptionist position will be advantageous.Fluent in Afrikaans & English (verbal & written)Experience with medica software (Elixir) will be advantageousFully computer literateOwn transportMust reside within Centurion / Pretoria east region.Working hours and compensation:Monday to Friday, 08h00 – 17h00 Flexibility with these times is absolutely necessary.Salary will be R10000 R15000 pm depending on experience.Start date will be 6 January 2025Only candidates who meet all the minimum requirements stipulated in the advert, will be considered.
