Job description: Job SummaryFleet Admin Controller required for a reputable construction company based in East London , Eastern CapeRequirements and Responsibilities:
- Plant hire experience beneficial
- Degree/Diploma in Logistics
- Debtors control experience
- Fleet and logistics experience essential
- Vehicle Management: Monitoring the fleet’s condition, maintenance schedules, and repairs to ensure vehicles are safe and operational.
- Routing and Dispatching: Planning and optimizing routes to maximize efficiency and minimize fuel consumption and time spent on the road.
- Cost Management: Budgeting and cost control measures, such as fuel usage monitoring, maintenance costs, and repairs.
- Compliance: Ensuring all vehicles meet legal and safety regulations, including licensing, inspections, and emissions standards.
- Data Analysis: Utilizing fleet management software to track and analyze data on vehicle performance, driver behaviour, and operational metrics.
- Team Supervision: Leading a team of fleet coordinators or drivers, providing guidance, training, and resolving operational issues
