Job description: Job Summary Duties: Liaise with the customer to clarify the requirements of their supplier quality system. Provide engineering support to operations ensuring consistent application of quality techniques Ensure the manufacturing process complies with standards and procedures. Define quality procedures in line with operating staff. Maintain and improve product quality Participate in the Advanced Product Quality Planning activities to determine appropriate use of existing and new measurement systems during new tool or process design and startup. Coordinate pre-launch production trial run process monitoring. Participate in the development of Failure Mode and Effects Analysis Maintain Control Plans and FMEA’s throughout the life of the part Keep a data base of customer specific process requirements Report monthly on KPI adherence to Manager Work with suppliers through BAM purchasing to set up a corrective action process. Adherence to the departments key performance areas which are safety, quality, cost and training Adherence to auditing management systems IATF16949 and ISO14001. Minimum Requirements: Minimum 3 years of Industrial/Automotive experience. At least minimum 2 years in quality control/assurance/engineering.
