- Manage daily cashbook entries and ensure accurate recording of financial transactions.
- Reconcile cash and bank accounts on a regular basis to ensure accuracy.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports and forecasts.
- Ensure compliance with financial policies and regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions and prepare supporting documentation as needed.
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial processes.
- Respond to inquiries regarding cash management and financial transactions from both internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation and explanations during the auditing process.
Essential Qualifications:
- Associate Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Programs (Excel, Word, etc.) is essential.
Desired Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years and a maximum of 10 years of experience in a financial role, preferably as a cashbook clerk or in a similar capacity.
- Experience in reconciling bank statements and cash management procedures.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Salary & Benefits:
- Monthly salary ranging from R15,000 to R17,000.
