Job description: My client is looking for an Accountant to handle the Accounts Payable Function. Must have completed Bachelor of Commerce Degree Accounting/ Finance with good knowledge of Pastel or a similar accounting system.You will be involved in the below:
- Preparing monthly creditor reconciliations
- Preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Month end reporting
- Processing good received notes (GRV’s) onto pastel for stock received and verifying supplier invoices
- Maintain financial regulations, compliance and documentation
